In recent years, regenerative medicine products have made remarkable progress both in Japan and around the world. Clinical development of many regenerative medicine products has accelerated, particularly for intractable diseases, and several products are now available for use in medical settings. In addition, PIC/S GMP Annex 2A (ATMPs: Manufacturing of Advanced Medical Products for Human Use) was released in May 2021, and further progress is expected in regenerative medicine products in the future.

近年、再生医療等製品が世界及び日本で目覚ましい進展を遂げてきております。特に難治性疾患に対し数多くの再生医療等製品の臨床開発が加速し、複数の製品が医療現場で使用できるようになってきています。また、2021年5月にはPIC/S GMP Annex2A（ATMPs：ヒト用先端医療医薬品の製造）がリリースされ、再生医療等製品には今後さらなる進展が予想されます。

In light of this current situation, the Japanese PDA Pharmaceutical Society has decided to hold the PDA Cell & Gene Pharma Products Conference, a forum on regenerative medicine products, in Japan, in collaboration with the PDA Headquarters, following on from last year.

このような現状に鑑みて、日本PDA製薬学会は、昨年に引き続きPDA本部と共同して再生医療等製品に関する討論会であるPDA Cell＆Gene Pharma Products Conference（PDA　細胞及び遺伝子医薬討論会）を日本で開催することといたしました。

This year's event will be held over two days, with a particular focus on cell-processed products among other regenerative medical products, and will feature lectures on pharmaceutical affairs, regulations, and manufacturing from a global perspective. In planning the event, we asked the following people, who are central players in this field, to serve as program committee members, and we have also utilized the global network, one of PDA's distinctive features, to invite speakers from a wide range of industry, government, and academia (see below).

今年度も再生医療製品等の中でも特に細胞加工製品を中心にすえて、特にグローバルな視点から薬事・規制、製造といった観点からの講演を中心にして2日間で開催いたします。開催を計画するにあたっては、本領域で中心的な活動をされている以下の方々にプログラム委員をお努めいただき、PDAの特色でもあるグローバルネットワークも利用して産官学の広い範囲からご講演者を招聘いたしました。（下記をご参照下さい）

We also plan to have a number of exhibits from related companies involved in regenerative medicine products.

また、再生医療等製品にかかわる関連会社からの展示も多数計画いたしております。
