For all PDA member rate tickets (Standard Member, Academic, Early Career, and Emerging Economy), registration will only be approved after membership verification. You will receive a pending approval email, and once the membership has been verified, you will receive a registration confirmed/approved email.
You must provide your PDA Membership ID in the registration form. If this is not provided, we will verify your membership using the email address submitted during registration.
If further information is required, we may contact you via email for clarification. Failure to respond within the specified timeframe will result in the cancellation of your registration. You will be offered the option to update your registration to a non-member ticket, subject to the applicable fee adjustment.
Your registration will remain on hold until payment is successfully received. Upon receipt of payment, a confirmation email will be sent to confirm your registration.
To qualify for the early bird rate, payment must be completed by 31 March 2025, 23:55 hours Singapore Time (UTC+8).
PAYMENT
Payment Deadlines - Payment is due by the specified deadline mentioned on the conference registration page or in PDA communications. Failure to make payment by the deadline may result in the cancellation of your registration.
Currency and Taxes - All payments must be made in the currency specified by the organizer. Attendees are responsible for any applicable taxes, including goods and services tax (GST), value-added tax (VAT), withholding tax (WHT), or other similar charges.
Bank Charges and Transaction Fees - Any bank charges or transaction fees incurred during payment, such as international wire transfer fees or currency conversion fees, will be borne by the attendee.
GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Confirmation and Enrollment - PDA Asia Pacific will send a confirmation email within one week of receiving payment. This confirmation email is required to be considered enrolled in a PDA Asia Pacific event.
Changes to the Event - PDA Asia Pacific reserves the right to modify event material, speakers, sessions, and timings without prior notice.
Event Cancellation - PDA Asia Pacific reserves the right to cancel an event. In such cases, registrants will be notified as soon as possible, and a full refund will be issued. PDA Asia Pacific will not be responsible for any costs incurred due to cancellation.
Privacy Policy - Registrants' personal information will be used in accordance with the conference's privacy policy. Attendees may receive communications related to the event, including updates and promotional materials. The attendee list, with consent, may be shared with sponsors for follow-ups based on preferences selected during registration.
REFUND AND SUBSTITUTIONS
Cancellations - Cancellation requests received 30 days before the event (by 6 April 2025, 23:55 hours Singapore Time) will be eligible for a credit (registration fee minus USD 100 processing fee). Cancellation requests made less than 30 days before the event will not receive a credit.
Substitutions - Substitutions are welcome. Substituting a PDA member with a non-member requires payment of the difference in fees before the event. Substitutions are free up to 22 April 2025, 23:55 hours Singapore Time, after which an admin fee of USD 50 per name change will apply.
TRAVEL
PDA does not work with outside hotel contractors. Book directly through the official PDA-designated hotel listed on the event website.
PDA is not liable for travel arrangements made outside official recommendations.
CONSENT FOR DATA PROCESSING AND USAGE
By registering, attendees acknowledge and consent to the collection, use, and processing of their personal data for the following purposes:
Event Management: Registration, attendance, and participation.
Audience Insights: Understanding professional backgrounds for better networking.
Content Personalization: Tailoring event content to attendees' interests.
Communication: Sending event updates and future invitations.
Marketing: Informing about upcoming events and promotions.
Media: Using event photos/videos for promotions.
Evaluation: Improving future events and ensuring inclusivity.
Data Sharing:
With explicit consent, attendee contact information may be shared with event sponsors and exhibitors for relevant communications.
Retention & Rights:
Personal data will be retained only as long as necessary or as required by law. Attendees can access, correct, or withdraw consent at any time by contacting asia-pacific@pda.org.
